LeNa SATO is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Tokyo, Japan.She graduated from Tama Art University with a degree in Graphic Design and is a Bronze Prize winner at the 20th TIS (Tokyo Illustrators Society) Competition.

After working as a graphic designer at the interior shop unico, she moved to Canada, where she gained new perspectives on everyday life while working at local interior shops and cafés. Upon returning to Japan, she began her career as an illustrator in earnest.

Using materials such as traditional Japanese paints, watercolors, and acrylics, she creates soft and delicate illustrations depicting plants, insects, and scenes from daily life. Her work spans magazine and packaging illustrations, as well as personal projects such as producing zines and exploring various forms of visual expression.
