This collection explores editorial and cover design as a means of extending the world within my illustrations. Each piece is meticulously crafted—from paper size and layout to the layering of typography—to achieve the tactile reality of a published book while keeping the illustration at its heart.

The series includes:

• "FACE TO FACE": A book design based on the 26th TIS Competition Bronze Prize-winning works.

• "Botanical Studies": A visual magazine compiling my life’s work of plant illustrations.

• "Cinematic Reconstructions": A project transforming movie posters created for university assignments into a book format.

Through this process, I aim to elevate illustration from a mere "material" into an "experience" through the power of design.

既存のイラストレーションから着想を得て、その世界観を拡張するための装丁・エディトリアルデザインの試み。イラストが主役となるよう、判型やレイアウト、文字の重なりを緻密に計算し、架空の書籍としてのリアリティを追求しています。

本コレクションには、第26回TIS公募 銅賞受賞作をベースにしたブックデザインをはじめ、ライフワークである植物画を編纂したビジュアルマガジン、映画ポスターを冊子形式へと再構築したプロジェクトなどが含まれます。

イラストレーションという「素材」を、デザインの力で「体験」へと昇華させるプロセスを記録しています。
